I grew up on progressive forms of music,but am a sucker for great jazz and love songs.Black Flag was an influence as well as Chopin.Anything else?

I am fairly new to recording on computer but I am learning new tricks all the time.I never would have thought that practice could be as much fun as it is but the hour to hour and a half time I put into my guitar daily is special time.
My wife and kids have been a great inspiration for me to get back to the one thing I shouldn't have slacked on...creating music.
