Twisted Too Twisted Too

From 8/12. Set up a few condensers in the living room and recorded an acoustic drum kit, then overdubbed guitar and bass. One track each. Simple.

A Classic Vacation A Classic Vacation

From 2000. Recorded acoustic drums in my friends basement, using a whole slug of mics, then overdubbed a couple guitar tracks and a bass track. Simple. N-Track studio did the trick, with help from a Layla console.

Progressive Rock

Concubine Concubine

From 8/12. Same as Twisted Too, but with an extra guitar track for desired flavor. This song is not really done, but I had to document my progress. It may never be done. So be it.

Progressive Rock

Uptown Uptown

Used a borrowed Roland V-Kit to record the beat on a 4-track in my living room, then laid down the bass and two guitars over it. Simple. Without David Gaziel, this song would never have existed.

KJ KJ

Wrote the whole thing out using Fruity Loops, then ran that sh** into a 4-track and laid a single guitar over it. A bit of a debacle, but at least I know how the melodies play together now. That's the goal: out of my head, into my stereo. You dig?

Progressive Rock

My name is Eldo Abrahamson, and I been doing this underground one-man show since 1999. I do other stuff too, but when a piece of music needs a full band, I bust out whatever shit-eating means are available to me at the time and do it myself. As far as electronics go, their role in this is thusfar solely functional. They help me, because humans are either unavailable, unwilling or unmotivated, so fuck 'em. Got me bigger fish to fry, and I got the means, so here you go.
Band/artist history
This is no band, you fool. This is my life!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I live in Duluth, MN these days, so live versions of this stuff won't be happening any time soon. Musicians here are far more concerned with being on the scene than diving into the music itself, and that's a shit-wall I'm not going to waste my time trying to traverse.
Your musical influences
Oh fuck you. I'm sick of questions like this. Listen to the music, draw your own conclusions, and feel free to keep them to yourself.
What equipment do you use?
I did this all with drums, basses, guitars, computers, mics, an MK-II Portastudio, effects, snythesizers and whatever I had the skill and patience to muster up at the time. My buddy Graham played bass on Suffice, so I used him too. Sucker.
Anything else?
Thanks to all the great musicians i've played with: Dave Gaziel, Vince Maldonado, Graham Payne, Perry Osborn, et al. Fuck you Earl.
