Band/artist history
MADCOW STEAKHOUSE: Serving The Music Community Since 2004.
MADCOW STEAKHOUSE erupt and transcend through a world of cookie cutter, sound alike bands. Capturing a confident, innovative and hysterical musical style that grips a wide range of influences, MADCOW STEAKHOUSE are an expression of creativity and intellegence.
Formed during the winter of 2004 from the ashes of mutiple legendary Tennessee bands, MADCOW STEAKHOUSE are setting forth on a musical journey that holds no boundries. With a rhythm section consisting of the solid, powerful, tribal style structure of drumming from Ryan Sides (Pistol Whip, Submission) and the omnipotent and innovative bass playing of Bobby Rayfield (Nethinem, Calm, The Butchers Daughter), the foundation for aptitude was quickly set in stone. When the over the top, creativity of guitar structures by Jason Reed (Double Dick Slick) is added to the already dominating creation and then adapting the humorous and captivating lyrics of Jeff Daughtery (Double Dick Slick), no one could have expected the exsplosive magnitude that has become MADCOW STEAKHOUSE.
After the line up for MC/SH was established it was not long before the inherent flow of song structure and humor began to progress. Within only a few months MC/SH could be found performing on the same stage with such artists as MASTODON, WITHERED, THUMPGUN, SCURVY DOGS, THE SHA-PELS and HIGHTOWER. During the process of consistant live appearances in the summer of 2004, MC/SH also found time to enter Brian McCutcheon's Audio Alchemy Studio to record their first track, Big ol' Pole, which was released a compilation CD entitled The Chattanooga Experience 3, presented by Bog-Gob Magazine.
MADCOW STEAKHOUSE have refined themselves into an inexhaustible machine that embodies certain elements of music that have been long forgotten to exsist in the past years. A powerful and unforgetable stage presence that has created a devoted fan base and crowning it with a creativity and humor unmatched by anyone else in the genra.
