Nation Through A Bottleneck Nation Through A Bottleneck
A homage to Hendrix's Woodstock cover of Star Spangled Banner. It'll eventually be done and polished, but I wanted to get something down for it.
Jams On Dope Jams On Dope
This is an old recording I had on my PC that my friend Olivier and guitarist Alex mastered with a drum track for me. It's going to be used as a beat by Olivier, but I thought I'd stick it on the site anyway, and maybe I'll an overdub later.
I decided to do a little solo work on my bass over the Summer. It's not anything terrific, but I like to experiment with different combinations of basses and effects, so I hope you enjoy listening.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live before, but not recently. I'm a big fan of live playing, because it allows for so much more variation, and you can really be yourself.
Your musical influences
More "progressive" musicians are my influences. Jaco Pastorius and Vic Wooten are definitely up there, but also the lesser known players like Justin Meldal Johnson for his use of effects.
I'm also influenced with my slide work by Ben Harper, and some of my effects work by Tom Morello. What equipment do you use?
Ibanez BTB 405
Epiphone El Segundo Acoustic
Magnum Fretless Jazz
Digitech BP200
Boss SD-1 Super OverdriveContact
