I got into hip hop long ago... I heard it while skateboarding at a younger age, and continued with it.
I later got into graffiti and break dancing, and at the same time the rave scene was a huge deal on the east coast. I hit some parties there and experienced a lot of different things, but the people who truly rocked the crowd were the turntablists. I got my first set of turntables off of some other kids misfortune, and eventually progressed onto a new pair for myself. Here I am today now on the west coast, collaborating with other skilled DJ's and living it up.
I still continue with the rave scene and am mostly into jungle now. I manage 1001 Untouchable Styles, and also part own North Of the Norm Collective, a service providing jungle stages for even the smallest budget (but we rock the biggest budgets like nobodys business).Have you performed in front of an audience?I spin at clubs and raves, and it's wicked. It's dope to scratch and have the crowd completely dig it, all while dropping killer jungle mixes.
Your musical influences
I've got a lot of influences... be it sessioning or watching DJ axiom play, having DJ subterriast push ragga my way, or even spinning with my old roomie DJ flex. A lot of people have influenced where I am now and I am stoked too have had such a diverse background of friends helping me along the way. What equipment do you use?
The wheels of steel, a mixer and my crate are the bare minimum. Give me more and watch out though...Anything else?
I'm always looking to meet up with people in the North West , so hit me back if you are intersetedContact
