A dynamic performer, singer and keyboard player, Lauri Saviano is also an extremely prolific and inspired songwriter who has composed more than one hundred pop, rock, r & b and dance songs. Born on Long Island in Baldwin, NY, Lauri started playing the piano at the age of four. Initially classically trained, Lauri was intrigued by the freedom of the piano with its wide spectrum of sounds and colors. Quickly, in her musical development, she was drawn to pop and rock 'n roll styles often-combining classical and pop influences in her playing. Vocally, Lauri sang with every school chorus and church choral group she could find and even studied opera for several years.
In the early 1990's, she moved to New York City and began working on a variety of musical projects with a number of different songwriters, producers and artists playing and singing on recordings and doing background vocals for various artists. In 1996, Lauri formed her own band, performing her original songs, and began playing in various clubs across Long Island, from the East End of the Island and The Stephen Talk House to a number of different clubs in New York City. During 1997, she toured for almost six months throughout Germany, under the sponsorship of Marlboro. Most recently, Lauri has just returned home after spending almost three months touring and performing and recording in Canada.Your musical influences
