Emu are a band from Hemel/Chesham area and our influences include Pantera, System Of A Down, Shellshock (not musically as much they actually help us), Iron Maiden, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deftones plus many others. Emu's wide range of music means that they will do any style of music, including even a bit of Ska. Hardcore Riffs, Screaming, Singing, Amazing Drumming, Insane Bassist, this band has everything. Emu are a young band which an age range of 14 and are already starting to get a known locally. The thing people like about Emu is that they are so different from everything out there and try everything and just aint your average band.

Sam Farrell - Vocals 2002-2005Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes we do play live, we play in Chesham a fair bit and plan to play in Hemel/Amersham/Berkhamsted before making an attempt at London, we love playing live, every time we play live is a special moment. But our best moment so far most likely was our first two songs on our second gig actually no that whole gig it was amazing the crowd were excellent, we started the first pits and got most likely the best response of the night (even though we werent the best band)
Your musical influences
Our influences include: Pantera, Slayer, In Flames, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Led Zepplin, Machine Head, Deftones, System of A Down, Faith no more, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Shellshock (we havent tried any Drum N Bass elements though i add...yet) and loads of other bands due to the fact we do change from song to song.
We love heavy music but we also love less heavy music and we just do both because it is easiest.What equipment do you use?
