The Final Chapter does Not mean I am quitting. You cant 'retire' from a Career you were not Financially successful at. Rappers who 'retire' make no sense. The D.O.C. Had to retire. Jay-Z and Too Short STILL rhyme. Anyways, The Final Chapter is an

First of all to the producers and artists: We are blessed to have this playground for all of us to upload to. I remember being huge at audiogalaxy, decent at soul seek, weak at iuma and mp3.com turned into the professionals swamp and took our listeners away from the independent underground. Keep this place strong and real and respect what soundclicks lets us floss on their servers. Respect each other and give honest reviews. I hate it when someone hates and gives a 1 and doesnt give a real reason why. And I hate it when people give me a sugarcoated 10 and just say "this is hot, but peep out my track". If I give you a ten, your song really moved me in some type of way. If I give you a nine, it is great but something was lacking. Lets learn from each other to all become better. Let the more knowledgeable veterans give reviews and info that can better the next mans weak mix etc....Some people think I dont actually use ACID because Im always bitchin that noone has outboard equipment. Shit, I cant afford what I got but, throughout 17 years I have saved my minimum wage-ass pennies to get what I got. No matter what genre you are in, do you think your favorite professional artists used fruity loops or borrowed ACID loops to make a smash hit? Hell naw. I just use ACID to track everything down and have a steady mix of all the tracks that create my song. Then I use Sound Forge to master it all. I think Sonic Foundry makes good products and they are easy to learn and use but still put out professional results. Thats why I am here...............................Producer of REALIZM and President of endless productions Inc. Documentated from the Streets of Milwaukee. We (straight-p aka REALIZM aka SeveneveZ) got over 600 songs so you are just looking at the icing on the cake. At 29 years old and now residing in Arizona. Been a lyricist and producer for over 17 years. Check the resume - www.endlessproductions.com -=STP=-
Band/artist history
Dating all the way back to the late eighties with the first known recorded song "Double Barrell - Steppin' with Double", produced by DJ Mike Kinniple. The once known name of Double Barrell was switched to P-WYZE as he integrated with other founding member Funk-E under the group name of "The P-WYZE Enterprise". P-WYZE and Funk-E made various recordings at home on only a double tape deck after Funk-E recorded his Instrumentals containing only him Beat Boxing non-stop for five minutes to have something to flow over. Rhymes were about strictly battles and school stories also used at the lunch tables or battle raps at Greenfield High School. The only remaining recording in existence is of a song with no-name over Too-Short - Freaky Tales (instrumental) Produced by DJ Mike Kinniple also. P-WYZE and Funk-E never stopped writing but soon branched apart as P-WYZE moved out of Greenfield due to personal and family related reasons. Living the next few years in the ghettos of Milwaukee with friends of his, P-WYZE used the streets of Milwaukee to fuel his flows and passion for music. His first place of residence was with his mentor J-Stylz on 55th & Keefe. After following in the footsteps and teachings of his master, he learned many things in rhyming and breathing techniques. He then went on to live with school friend Ant on 24th & McKinley where he then perfected the technique of "Ghetto Sampling" by using a double tape deck. By rewinding a clip of a different artists beat and recording that small clip on tape 2, then hitting pause at the end of that loop. Then repeating that process over and over until left with a vocal free instrumental that was far from being "dead on beat" but provided a decent instrumental to record on for free. He would have rap-battles with various members of the McKinley players on those streets. After confrontations with rival gangs he was pulled into a predominantly Muslim family for protection and to get through school on 26th and Auer. There living with a strict household and enrolled at Pulaski High with best friend Mujahid. Mujahid was there when concepts of this Legacy began under the "Explicit Posse". Here P-WYZE making his transition into the name STRAIGHT-P derived from the Slang terminology "man that shit is straight p than a mutha****a". Something one would say when seeing something that is awesome to them. Still a force with J-Stylz and now Mujahid taking the name of Juvenile (not to be confused with Cash Money Records) forming a crew known as "Straight-Stylin'". Recording close to 50 songs together in the basement of "The Juvenile's" mom's house. Having access to many of the late seventies music from Black Pioneers such as Isaac Hayes, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield and so on, sampling with the double tape deck got more creative but sound quality wasnt there. Spending time on a crappy Samsung record player learning the basics of scratching. After saving every penny from fading heads in Milwaukee to working wack jobs STRAIGHT-P managed to save up for a Gemini mixer with a 5 second Sampler built into it. At the time it made better (on-beat) instrumentals to lay under the progressive flows to come. STRAIGHT-P and The Juvenile soon graduated and Mujahid headed off to the Military and seeking further knowledge like his big brother Mustafa.2 years after leaving Greenfield he returned to Franklin in his mothers basement. Where he finally got a job working for his fathers business and got a loan at a music store for better equipment. A Microphone, a Roland DJ-70 Sampling Workstation and a Yamaha 4-track. Linking back up with a past friend Jason. A new crew was in the brewing. Jason became JIZZAY and recorded his first track with STRAIGHT-P "Bitches n' Hoes". JIZZAY recorded a few other songs before STRAIGHT-P moved out again to 27th & Howard with old friend Funk-E who soon became the infamous E-ROC. At this apartment the 2 emcees reunited their skills through the experimentation of Marijuana and Alcohol on a daily basis. One night the two sat down on a serious note and voted on a list of group names they came up with. Knowing the feel was to be free and real as possible heading for dominance in the Underground, such names thought over were "Lower Arena","Deep Below", "Extended Play", "Yearz of Work", "Independents", "Below Da Foundation" and "Realism". Deciding on the name Realism spelt with a Z. The word "REAL" representing being Real without falling to the commercialistics of the Industry standards. With rememberance to a then popular song called "Mad Izm" by Channel Live and KRS-One relative to Marijuana stimulation. Because every song at that time was written and produced on the influence of weed. 1995 the name REALIZM was born.E-ROC had a childhood friend that came over one night and claimed skills on the Microphone. Initiated into the crew with a Freestyle that brought a new element. Matt said his name is "Playa Mateznick". What does it mean? Who knows, noone could ever figure the mind of Matt. He came over soon after with a 6-Pack of Bull-Ice and recorded his first song "REALIZM - Bull Ice".Songs were pumped out on almost a daily basis. Women came and went and this Lifestyle ruled those years as contained in the recordings. As the lease ran out and the 2 Virgos E-ROC and STRAIGHT-P grew slightly agro of one another because they worked and lived together. They separated and E-ROC went to his family and STRAIGHT-P returned to his mothers basement. Going through many things (drugs, women, writers block) STRAIGHT-P sold his music equipment to his original mentor J-Stylz who then soon turned into DOLO of Cess Pool, a group he was forming. STRAIGHT-P began drinkin and smoking harder with new friends B-13 and Fritsch. Heading into thugging local neighborhoods with loads of theft and various drama near Highway 100. A path leading nowhere, Fritsch headed off to the Military. Not much time went by as STRAIGHT-P felt strong urges for the love he gave away. He then went out and bought almost the same set-up he sold a few months prior and put in some hard work mainly on a solo level. Matt a.k.a. Playa Mateznick soon became forever known as TIZ and winded up back in the studio to record more songs. REALIZM started becoming more REAL as songs would talk about the way things were going. Aside of the Hoes always present, were the Haters names, left evident in many songs. Called out for everyone to know no matter your ties with the crew, let it be known. After a long lapse, E-ROC and JIZZAY both began showing up in more and more songs. Both of their skills were on such an obvious level of progression that it motivated STRAIGHT-P and TIZ to excel alongside. Production knowledge grew in STRAIGHT-P as it became more than just a hobby for him. 1996 brought STRAIGHT-P his 1st DUI on a rampant night out in the Boonies with Porkchop and friends at one of Bridget and Gingers parties ending in a fight fueled by Jack Daniels "REALIZM - STRESS". STRAIGHT-P acquired a girlfriend by the name of Sylvia whose ex-boyfriend was Joe. As it turned out, "Joe" could" flow" and ended up rollin with REALIZM for a few cuts before leaving to the Military. Joe had a rare love for the art so it was hard to see him go. Soon after STRAIGHT-P was struck with Rumours of his best friend E-ROC cheating with Sylvia. This marks the most hateful period of STRAIGHT-P's life. Evident in the song "REALIZM - Love...Hate...". Almost comitting suicide one night when learning this, STRAIGHT-P then met a Christian family that got him through these suicidal visions. He NEVER believed in God. Moreso, the Devil if anything. Just to be buried when you have exhaled youre last breath. The Christian family taught STRAIGHT-P to live without ever looking to suicide as an option again. Though the worst thing to remind him of this, is the stage of self-empowerment gained to progress him-self to his highest level from that day on. The hatred he felt turned to progression in every aspect of REALIZM and his life. Now believing in God, to this day STRAIGHT-P will care for all of any handicap race or Religion. BUT, will NEVER TRUST ANYONE. As someone that waslike a brother had betrayed him in the worst way. But TIZ stayed by his side through this ordeal along with new members B-13 and Webz. STRAIGHT-P aquired more equipment that his Father had, and he instructed STRAIGHT-P to temporarily hold onto it, and to learn from it until his Dad had time to use it. I believe STRAIGHT-P's Dad did this to bring out some of his son's true talents. Now leaning into sole production in songs containing no samples at all, was a new element to REALIZM. The combination of the 2 styles is still evident in todays productions. 1998 STRAIGHT-P and WEBZ held an apartment together on 76th & Howard. Where music continued to be mass produced as it was in 1995. At these stages Electronica became more of an Interest to STRAIGHT-P who began experimenting with other genre's such as Drum and Bass, House and Trance. While living at this residence STRAIGHT-P fell for a Latin girl who turned out to be actually 17 years of age. They were very much into each other and used thier time wisely until her brother sent her back to Detroit, knowing STRAIGHT-P was too old for her. She was good to him and healed a ripped heart because her name was actually "Sylvia". Known to STRAIGHT-P as Sylvia II, referenced in many hit songs, "SEVENTEEN (she was...)" and "The Feelings Never Die". Love lost but becoming evident to STRAIGHT-P that he is not to fall in love, but to progress REALIZM further while spreading himself to all who are presented in his journeys. Soon Fritsch returned from the Navy and he and STRAIGHT-P ended up in Mequon at what became "The Riverhouse". The Riverhouse set the tone for REALIZM's biggest dent in the MidWest. Making more songs and learning MIDI created the start of some of his strongest beats. The REALIZM crew was in it's finest form with JIZZAY, TIZ, Mys-Teez, B-13, Fritsch, Nads, Joey Rock
