Ninetwelve started by making noise with a toolchest. Ninetwelve still makes noise- only with slightly more expensive toys.Have you performed in front of an audience?The ninetwelve live act has only made a limited number of performances, however much mayhem and carnage usually ensue.
I'm currently working on new corpses for the record release party this summer. Nothing says music like the effegy of rotted flesh.
Your musical influences
My musical influence stem from the pioneers of post modernism in pop music. For years in art music the use of electronic instruments, tape distortions and noise had been accepted before visionaries like Einsturzende Neubauten, Throbbing Gristle and Skinny Puppy put them into a form that the masses could appreciate. Other than old industrial I tend to take quotations from Rachmoninoff, Elgar, Varese, Barber, Stravinsky, Shoenberg, Tom Waits and Voltaire.What equipment do you use?
Synths: Alesis Ion, Novation A-Station, Korg MIKROKORG, Red Sound Dark Star XP2.
Circuit Bent: Speak and Math, and several analog keyboards.
Instruments: Schecter Omen 7 Guitar, 12-String Acoustic, Oboe, Recorder.
Recording: Audio-Technica AT3035 Condensor Mic, Motu2408 MKii I/O, Behringer Ultragain Pro Pre-amp.
Software: Logic Audio 5.2 and the full ine of Logic software synths and primarily the 24bit sampler, Fruity Loops, Soundforge, Acid Pro 4.Contact
