I'm always glad to be supportive. I'm a preschool teacher right now -- i'm all about fostering creativity. You *do* play well; I wasn't just being nice. Just to let you know. It's rare when music moves me beyond just feeling and into the realm of seeing and touching, but when I listened to your Lenny/man on the side cover I could honestly see mayer doing his hee-haw thing with the guitar and your cover made it feel... real. Like i wasn't watching a dvd, like I was actually *at* the concert. Thought you might like to know.
Thank you for your comments on "bite my tongue". I'm so proud of it, I can hardly contain myself. :) See you on the msm boards-- (Who was the friend that got you into it?)

Jim! Just listening to Lenny/Man On the Side. One: Wow. I wish I could play that well! I think you pulled SRV off without a hitch. He'd be proud man! I esp liked the transition into MOTS. It happens to be my favourite JM song. I was disappointed there was no vocals, but I still think you did a bang up job. Excellent. Oh and don't be scared of MSM either, they all talk sh*** except for RY.
If you feel the need, check out my stuff. Its nowhere near as excellent but I am proud to call it mine :)

Hey Jim! Loving Lenny -- man on the side. You play it with a vibe that makes time feel like its slowing down and the world is smooth. And Man on the Side -- i love the slaps. I can't do slaps on a keyboard, and this is why I'm jealous of all guitar players. Slaps and slides. That's just an awesome feature of guitar.
Good start with the recording equipment -- remember, to futz is to learn. Keep making music and tweaking settings as you go along. Looking forward to more music and posts on MSM :)
If you get a chance, I'd love some feedback on my new single "Bite My Tongue". :)
Take care,
Scratch version of Songwriter Blues posted on my page. Going to clean this up and polish it over the next week or two. Comments appreciated.
