Hola fellow Komatoastians,
JC here hoping you all had a great holiday season. I am currently trying to put together a New Years show in a location as yet to be determined so check back to see if it goes through. The numbers on this site will be far beyond any of my exspectaions this year. For this i thank all of you greatly. "And I' spent about 3 months in the top 20 and it's all because of your listens & downloads. Of course i always post the year end numbers at our YAHOO group site so look for that & if you're just bored, do a google search on KOMATOAST and you'll find us all over the world. Once again, thank you for all you do. Without you i am just another struggling musican.

Just thought i'd drop a line sayin' "thanx" to those who've been stoppin' by. This site should do double + what it did last year! too cool! and i would let you know that i've added a couple of tracks to the music section. One from the newest CD being recorded as we speak and some old that just didn't make the cut. Maybe you'll enjoy 'em. I hate to hold back any kind of music. Also, stop by the Myspace site to get intouch with the band, get up to date info and hear some tunes. Thanx to all who've stop'd by and maybe soon we'll see enough plays on a tune to push it to #1....it's all up to you!

Keepin' u abreast of all the happs here in Fla. We have
begun the live thing and things are goin' KILLER! Just about to lock
down a regular gig at a place called "The Refuge" in stuart, FL.
it's kinda that "acoustic rock" feel of a place ....and i can smoke
inside even.....woohoo.
And now, i've been contacted by a place in North Palm Beach
called "The Orange Door" (www.orangedoor.com) to play. Hopefully
this is the begining of good things to come.
The #'s continue to floor me at www.soundclick.com/komatoast
Seems we've found a market for ourselves...finally! So keep your
fingers crossed and i'll keep ya up to date on all the happs.
We've been told that recording the gig at orange door is a big
possibilty so maybe some live tracks will find Their way to the CD
table.
Thanx for all you guyz do and we appreciate it!
& We R Out!

So now it's gone LIVE!
I would like to let ya'll know that KOMATOAST has a new member. David Rowell is now the Second guitar & Voice of this project. We've done some small gigs live to try to start the learnig process and things are coming along nicely i might add.
Also, "in a different light" is so close to completion it's scary. 2 more tracks to put down & i'll have it done. And now with David in the mix, a 3rd cd should be out inside a year...... i hope. So keep on checkin' in. The #'s on this site have been fanominal. Some of the best months yet for #'s. Thanx for all the support.
we're outta here!

Well,
Things have blown up for me just recently, thought i'd share.
I am now forming 2 different bands, 1 is the acoustic thing the other is more in the range of komatoast meets sevendust. both situations have a guitar, a drummer & a bassist. I hope both work out but here's where it gets sticky.... i have almost no time to work on the new CD so, the release date has been currently suspended indefinately. I hate to say it but, i'm a stage junkie so iam devoting all the time these bands need from me. I'll be finishing the CD but it'll be slow. so check back for updates and new tracks as i finish them. Thanx for all the support and we're out!
Thanx,
JCD

Thanx much rose, and if you can, spread the word on that side of the ocean......J
Here's a few new tidbits to go over... First, KOMATOAST is getting web radio airplay at http://www.drinkandrock.com, it's free comedy talk radio but they play selections of tunes between sketches so check them out and request, request, request KOMATOAST. Second, I'm working with several spoken word artists to produce a Spoken Word CD with KOMATOAST as the music. It'll be stripped down versions of the tunes you know and love, but with some new twists to them. I'll post more details as this project begins to take form. So far there's 3 artists from 2 states involved. Anywho, just keeping the loyal KOMATOASTIANS informed. Thanx for checkin' in and as usual, SPREAD THE WORD!
