Downtempo, chillout? I don't know. Mocston-moc-mocco!

A one man downtempo act. Is it downtempo? I don't know. I just try to make stuff that I want to: I rarely stick to a genre (although Air-style chillouty stuff is my current angle).
I'm James. I'm from England. I have no hardware.
Band/artist history
History? Well, I bought FL Studio a few years ago, and ever since I've been tinkering with it. I should be the best artist of all time by now, but I just don't make enough songs. I need more experience. And a big, 10,000 studio.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I played live infront of Bastins in Torquay once. The busker outside SuperDrug didn't like it, though, and punched me in the gob.
Your musical influences
Lemon Jelly. Cornelius. Air. Zero 7. Boards of Canada. Well, some don't sound like me, but they were influential.
What equipment do you use?
FL Studio mainly. But also a load of VSTs - FM7, Pro-53, BassLine, Atmosphere, Lounge Lizard. Reason through rewire lately, too!
How can I afford all them you ask? I half inched them!
Anything else?
Moon Safari is a beautiful album.

Damondo is talking about Firemoor, the trance song I had on here (it sampled Dungeon Keeper, honey!). And thanks to him for the review!
My music will appear here shortly.
Where did your music go, you big ponce? I see you've had this for quite a while already. Which song is Damondo talking about? I am the Bass?
I've been trying to listen everyone in the trance section in alphabetical order in this section and i gotta say its refreshing to hear someone with some good production values compared to a lot of the GM crud on here!
Back to the music; its a bit cheesy for my tastes. I think the bass instrument needs to be a bit louder/deeper as the kick was doing most of the low end work. Other than that i think the main synth is a bit out tune with the chords in the break down and a little less with the rest of the song.
good luck
