Owen Loves His Mama: we know we don't have any good recording equipment or money for studio space or pretty enough faces for people to "comp" us anything, but we like to make music and force others to listen to it.

3 heterosexual twentysomethings formed a band in tahlequah, ok. they named themselves OWEN LOVES HIS MAMA and began rocking the face of the collective public.

Your musical influences
guster, roger clyne, the refreshments, wilco, uncle tupelo, counting crows, toadies, ben folds, alternative acoustic rock with country influences you cannot deny. We probably don't sound like them (we know we aren't as talented as they...yet) but that's who we listen to, thus, our influences. we sound more like the Shaggs than anyone else.
