Lucia Lie
To truly understand Lucia Lie you have to see them live. Their specific breed of slow sad melodic pop transfigures into a heavy hitting rock opus as soon as they hit the stage. Commonly referred to as the band with the cello, Lucia lie stands alone in the rock pop genre. The bands uncommon style yet somehow comforting melodic familiarity stems from a wide variety of musical influences ranging from early nineties grunge to Elton John. With the release of their first Ep in early 2002 the band developed a surprisingly large following in the Boston area. They have repeatedly packed clubs such as T.T. The Bears Place and Emilys in Boston and The Living room in NYC.
The band is a quartet consisting of guitar/vocals, cello, bass, and drums. Lucia Lie is based in Boston and all it's members currently attend Berklee College of Music. Rob Connolly is the songwriter, singing and playing rhythm acoustic guitar. The lead instrument is the Cello, played by Lorena Ruiz. Drummer Blaise Lanzetta and bassist Stephen Yonkin provide the rhythm section. Lucia Lie is currently hard at work on their next full-length release tentatively planned to be released in early February 2003.

I really like what your version of "The Rainbow Connection". The guitar is too quiet though. You sing very well (better than me).
