Billy KingBand/artist history
I dont know hell I played with lots of musicians,Cross Roads was the first band I was in 1968-1971 we giged in the Village when we were teenagers,we played covers of power trio Tunes, Cream,Hendrix Bedlam Cactus some animals and popular kick ass tunes from that era. O yeah and did I mention Leslie West Mountain?? there you go.That should cover it right there If you know what I mean.I started writing late in the Game,But I drew off of my experiance. I try and focus on myself as I write and what I am going through at the moment.Have you performed in front of an audience?I played a lot of good clubs in New York and Texas ,In New York I played the Bitter End,Cafe wha, when I was sixteen. Was voted One of the best Ten guitarist in NY, In the Blues Rock catergory.I recorded Nine Long years with CleanSweep and also opened up for Foghat at the Rock Palace in Staten Island.Since Ive been in Texas I have done a lot more recording. It is much more laid back in Texas. A good place to Reflect and to write.Playing in Texas with my friend Tom Janise from Beumont Texas is a Blast.Tom runs an open mike there that is great, It takes place at the Changing Times on Tues nites, Blues and Rock all nite. When I am playing with Tom we feed off each other and come up with great ideas.I also like to play Benifits, It is most rewarding.A friend of mine from Staten Island was also a great inspiration for me his name is Billy Mann, another great guy to jam with. Also a lot of other friends in NY to many to mention here.Id like to thank them all. Right now I am playing Bass with Cliff and the cufflinks.

Hello, came over from Kenny Palyola's page here on Soundclick to listen to your tunes, really enjoyed them-nice guitar work. I play guitar in Kenny's band at this time, but it's not me on his tunes featured here. There's another project I did with "Smokestack Lightning" Band & we have a page here as well--drop by for a listen if you get a chance. Thanks, take care.
Danny
