Doc Lawrence and The Blues Fix is a group of veteran musicians that came together to play some great blues music. We play both cover songs and original material from our CD, "ONE TRACK MIND". Our original style can be described as a tasty mix of swinging, jumping, jazzy, and funky blues with some traditional Post-War Chicago and Kansas City flavors thrown in as well.
"One Track Mind" contains 12 original blues songs. From the opening track it is clear this Doctor makes house calls and his treatment will combine extremely tasty doses of creative harp licks, and lyrics that will knock your socks off! Behind the gentle leading of the big man, The Blues Fix finds the groove and brings a fresh new look at the traditional framework of rhythm and blues.
