What started out as two High school cliques quickly turned in to one of the hottest new hip hop teams out there. H-CIDE started making noise in high school when two different teams (187 and B.H.C) came together and formed the "Homicide True Crime Family. Members include: Mann, Stakk, Kash, Kuzin, Envy, Oh Mugz, Cream and others. Everyone was taken by the talent of these young artists, but what made it so much better was that they were all on the same team. After high school the magic started. Recording anywhere they could, Long Island started buzzing the name H-Cide like none other. The game was within reach as the crew started dropping banger after banger. With college on their mind and music in their souls, H-Cide became the college party poster team. Underground hits come faster to this clique than a subway crash. Every listener has an opinion and that is why its important for you to form your own. Everyone whos heard songs coming from this camp agrees- that whatever label is lucky enough to land H-Cide artist Mann or his crew will make back their investment in the millions. Remember the name. H-Cide.
Band/artist history
It all began at Hempstead High when a local crew got together and named themselves 187. .A second group of cats formed the clique called BHC. Both crews were real popular in Hempstead and got respect wherever they went. Eventually it only made sense from a business and marketing point that both local crews who never had any beef, should partner up and form a hip-hop empire in Hempstead, which is one of the toughest areas in all of Long Island. In the style of the old mafia, a closed meeting was held and both groups decided to join forces becoming the Homicide True Crime Family. Not to get into the name, but if you know about Hempstead and the people in this crew, youll know that theres no bullshit or fake-ass people. Everything each crewmember spits about is real (check the record on a couple of em if you dont believe me). Almost immediately the Homicide True Crime Family became local legends in Hempstead and at local colleges such as Hofstra and Stony Brook. There are a variety of artistst in this crew, many with college educations. Team members all serve different roles and look out for each other, some of the more educated cats check after the business while the street team stays on the grind. There are both male and female rappers down with H-Cide, and the goal is that wealthy, healthy lifestyle we all thought about growin up. .There is a management unit as part of H-Cide which oversees our business, rappers, actors, actresses and models. Whoever signs any H-Cide artist is gonna get a pre-made empire which needs that big paycheck to make things happen. Anyone who hears that name Homicide should know that were out to kill the game and get that doe!! Artists such as Mann, Kuzin, Envy, Royal-T, Kash and others are on that grind, but still layin in the cut waiting for that big break to come through. Once a foot gets in the door, best watch out because were gonna blow the hinges off that motha fu-ka know what Im sayin?
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play anywhere and everywhere. Our stomping grounds include local clubs in Hempstead LI, also performing at colleges and parties. Well perform almost anywhere so get as us.
Your musical influences
Well I think we get our musical influence from eachother. We respect the game and the people in it but we motivate eachother to do what we do.
Anything else?
We got as much respect for others as others do for H-Cide. Since we come from nothin all we got is our word and our balls, and were true to that. We respect the game and those who respect it. H-cide is about that cash, and you best believe were gunnin for the top.
