Dark Was the Night Dark Was the Night
Our version is nothing like BWJ's original, but rather inspired by the mood of this classic and stellar recording.
We are both longtime musicians. David is a guitarist, and Rasmus plays several instruments, including Piano and bass. Here, he plays pedal steel guitar and David plays his National Resophonic guitar. These pieces are spontaneously recorded, almost unprepared. We aimed for the magic and power of the moment, and the intention is to convey our love for music in general, and certain timbres and tonalities in particular.Band/artist history
Our friendship is going on 20 years, we've been involved in several projects together, and this is our latest offering, meant purely for our own enjoyment. It is our hope and intention with this page that some of this enjoyment can reach others, so thanks for stopping by - and thank you for your listening time.Have you performed in front of an audience?We have not played live in front of an audience, but everything you hear on this page is recorded live - simultaneously with no overdubs. In this sense, we've always played live.
