Avant Rock

The Invading Soundtrack is Ichiro Mito (Andre) the life of someone you know was our first full-length Album, current project is Japanese Fireworks (Nippon Hana-Bi) we've evolved into a very layered group of expermental hip-hop/rock/noise/free jazz/classical pretty much a layered melting pot of music
Band/artist history
started of playing bass and guitar with my boy scomar from the nashville band character, I'm a founding member of character and we recorded lots of music in middle/high school, I stopped playing for awhile and recorded my first full length Life of soemone you know, my other musical works include painted music vol. 1, noise rock satire and all his funny little games ( a noise EP) and my current most ambitious and produced album Japanese Fireworks (almost complete and at 60 min, it'll probably be almost 70min.)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, I believe that the music is impossible to play live, however I do play live with other bads I play bass
Your musical influences
well first off I love the beatles, the beach boys, the zombies, pink floyd all that good 60's/early 70's rock and then contemporary rock of montreal, olivia tremor control, modest mouse, etc. hip-hop quasimoto, del the funky homosapien, dj shadow, etc. my music really doesn't sound like any of these bands or much else I've heard it sounds more like hip-hop than anything I guess, but not really just the fat beats
What equipment do you use?
fruity loops, and whatever else I get my hands on, my first album was all on 4-track tape I used a tascam (who doesn't use fruity loops) I mostly sample stuff, my own, use others, I play a 1980's 60's re-issue japanese fender jazz bass, anything ampeg, and a shity mic
Anything else?
yeah that's it everything and nothing all at once, oh yeah japanese fireworks is a very crazy concept album in 3 ACTS it's like a play with japanese character's it will have an art book with it, and a DVD with a film set to all the music, which I guess will be about an hour an 10 min. long... wow I've got a lot of work cut out for myself
