Sometimes I'm Sad, Too Sometimes I'm Sad, Too

I was confused and annoyed when I wrote this song, so it's a bit more bitter than the rest of my stuff. This song was featured on the Storybook Records Mixtape Compilation Volume 2. http://www.storybookrecords.com

Indie

Cara del Gato is a band from Lake Butler, Florida, which is 20 minutes north of Gainesville. Our musical style ranges from Surf punk to Indie pop to Indie rock to Twee.
Band/artist history
Cara del Gato has only been around for a year or so (starting in 2003). It originated as just Waylon Thornton doing acoustic lo-fi stuff in his bedroom, but has developed into a full band. The lo-fi bedroom pop roots will not be forgotten, though.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play wherever we can. Playing live is one of the most fun things to do.
Your musical influences
Beat Happening, The Cramps, Johnny Cash, This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, Modest Mouse, The Minutemen, Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr, Half Japanese, The Ramones, The Misfits, All-Time Quarterback, Guided By Voices, Superchunk, the Crabs, Buddy Holly, Doug Martsch, the Pixies, Hank Williams Sr, Jad Fair, the Shaggs, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Sebadoh, That Dog, the Thermals, the Vaselines, the French Horns, Beck, the Mountain Goats, etc. Mostly twee influenced stuff. Some of it falls towards alt.country, though, and some of it falls toward a surfy kind of punk.
What equipment do you use?
guitars..drums.
