Stabbing Someone In the Jugular Vein...with a fork

Slowest Linus song you will ever hear.
Linus is another band coming out of the nice town called, "Lewistown." They got together awhile back when the drummer (Geoff) and the bassist's(Ryan)band split up because of the singer quitting. So they picked up an amazing guitar player. (Dan)If you are looking for a good fast wake up, these are the guys to give it to you. The music is tight, fast, and basically out of control.
Band/artist history
Well to learn this story you must travel back in time a very long way until you reach March 2003. Linus, formerly Downstrike started out as a ska band named Mikifin, with Nathan Follmer, Alex Lewis, and Joe Sprenkle. They tried to get people in on the ska thing but no one really supported the idea and it just kind of fell apart. Follmer and Alex tried everything they could to get a band started. They managed to find a bass player and a drummer and started practicing. They then changed the name to Downstrike (Whatever that really even means). The Lineup was Nate Follmer: Vocals, Alex Lewis: Guitar, Ryan Cherry: Bass, and Aaron Yohn: Drums. But shortly after Follmer quit to play bass for the Immolators. Aaron played two shows with the band, but was let go and replaced by Geoff Condron on drums. They also brought Timmy Ritter aboard to be a second guitarist, but let him go a few months later to gain back the original sound of the band. Alex the second original member left Downstrike June 28, 2003, so he could have time for side projects, so we have brought Dan Lauder to play guitar. Dan will also be singing for most of the songs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
They play many live shows at local fire halls. They love to play, especially when there is a huge mosh pit for the break down in the famous song, "Even Faster."
Your musical influences
The drummer like pounding music such as Slayer and the bassist likes punk/ska like Catch 22 and NoFx. The guitarist/singer likes punk such as AFI and such.
What equipment do you use?
Varies.
