Kardel is a songwriter not just another dime a dozen rapper.

Right now his goals take up 100% of the time but a woman that is secure with her, has career goals and a five-year plan but still a little ghetto turns Kardel's head.

He is bits and pieces of the world and influences in his life.
This St.Paul native is no newcomer to the rap game having done previous works on EMI Japan and also independently releasing his own project in 1998 titled Paint A Picture.
In which was received well by the masses and heavily rotated by radio.
On the first single off the new album entitled "Just A Friend", Kardel displays his song writing skills rhyming about the ills of a relationship with a woman that's insecure about her man's female friends "Why you questioning my loyalty/I honor my vows/You're letting this outside gossip bring drama in our house".
The new anthem for 2002 is a track off the album entitled "Middle Finga U," which describes Kardel's feelings toward labels that wouldn't sign him and baby's moms that won't let you see your kids.
"Baby's mamma trippin' /Check got garnished/You can't go clubbin' cause you got thin pockets," he raps.
Some of his musical influences include 2Pac, Biggie, Jay-Z , Nas and KRS-ONE just to name a few.
Kardel has proven to be one of the hardest working artist to emerge from the mid-west (Minnnesota) and credits his success to "keeping God first, working hard and staying focused."
His lyrics say it best "Don't get mad just eat while you can/Tell Craig on Friday I'm a debo my way in."
