every persons call is a three piece band out of northern Maine. The band came about when the drummer, nate, and the (former)guitar player, tyler got together and played just for the love of music. About two months later they brought in a bass player. Akeley hadnt been playing bass for very long but he was very good and they could not turn down the offer. So, as of this point, it was just the three of them. We decided to look for a singer to create a full four piece band. We recruited a friend of ours, named Sterling, but had to let him go due to political differences. Now the hunt had begun for a new singer. At this time Tyler's brother, Rob, just moved from Presque Isle. He seemed interested and dropped us an application. The first practice we decided that he was in and was exactly what we were looking for. Rob, Akeley, Tyler, and Nate played for about 3 or 4 weeks until Rob started having problems with different things where he was living. Rob moved to New Hampshire without any signs of leaving. Again, we were left high and dry with a show coming up a few months later. Akeley decided it would be a good idea if Tyler and himself switched, so Tyler was on bass and Akeley was on guitars and vocals. So here is the NEW and FINAL every persons call. Akeley- vocals/guitars Tyler Helstrom- bass Nate Sanders- drums
Band/artist history
hmmm... pretty much the same thing as the intro. Every persons call was formed in July of 2003, by Nate Sanders and Tyler Helstrom. They picked up Brandon in September. The guys have had a few singers come in and audition, but it seems just the three of them will work just fine
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live as much as possible. We are currently trying to set up a show downstate with other bands such as primer, pipe stone, and good call. We placed second at the 2004 battle of the bands at the northern maine fair.
Your musical influences
bands like- Blindside, Thousand foot crutch, tool, Incubus, Chevelle, Seether and cold have inspired to just be original and be ourselves.
