Heavy, over-the-top, grinding metallic mayhem from 404
404 was formed in the year 2000 in the Pacific Northwest by former members of the heavy-metal band Iron Rose, Jon Webster, Sam Stevens, and Kevin Karns, with the idea in mind to focus on an all-original project.
Original Lipstick drummer Jeff "The Bull" Cardelli (a.k.a. "Rex Havoc") started rehearsing with the band in July 2003, and drawing from a vast pool of collective musical influences and common interests (hard rock and blues to heavy metal), 404 began to create music reflecting a variety of styles, yet embodying a fresh, new, and distinctive heavy edge.
Their current effort, the newly released, self-titled CD, "404," was recorded in October 2003 at The Meatlocker, Silverdale, Washington, and mastered at Master Works in Seattle in early 2004.
