Hey Guys! Saw your message on the boards and decided to drop by for a listen. How far down is a great tune! Picked up on the S.T.P. feel and ...A.I.C. influence? Like your singing and guitar playing Ted. Tasty. And the U2 cover is very cool. Ya shoulda placed yer bet dude! Cheers, Dre - "Soul Dust"

How Far Down is a pretty damned good song. I definitely prefer it to most of the songs currently playing on the radio. I think the guitar part had a nice catch to it. Chase http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/chasejedickmusic.htm

"How Far Down" was my initial entry into the world of Automod. It struck me as very grunge-y, like Alice in Chains. But it's in a "heavily influenced" way, and not a "blatant wannabe rip-off" way, so that's a compliment. I also detected a bit of Hendrix in the solo. The vocals aren't as intense as Layne Staley, but that, also, is a good thing, because the song flows along great. I like the cover of "One", the addition of echo effects on the vocals in particular. Very good production values on that track. I agree with the decision to not include drums, the mood is perfect without them. After that, I listened to "Today". This song really reminds me of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page". But I happen to really like Seger, so I really like this song. The guitar solo was a bit muffled, but I chalk that up to the production and accept that the band also admits that the mix needs work. Lastly, I listened to the work in progress, "Intense". I imagine this is the future for Automod, since it's obvious

Hey Man Listened to today, I think this has potential, the production is obviously in need of somework. I think you should work on this some more, some real nice guitar lines as well. I'd like to see some more dynamic to it when the chorus hits, perhaps consider transposing up a few steps so you can give it a bit more when the chorus hits! Good stuff, Cameron

How's it. I like How far down, but are placing the effects over the entire track or just the vocals? I think it would sound better a little cleaner. To bring it to another level. Plus the double or chorus effect might work better if one of them was wispwer or low voice. But I did like it and thanks for the note SATRO
