Hello everyone and welcome to our little crawlspace here.
Band/artist history
1998 or so, we got together. Different band names, and then this name just sorta came to mind one day. I looked it up on the internet - no reference to anything. Weird. Sounds like a guy's name though, and nobody in the band is named T'em.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, nothing live. All just recording now.
Your musical influences
Garvey plays electric bass - 4 and 5 string. Says he likes Chris Squire, but I don't know who doesn't. At the very least, Chris is TALL.
I (call me T'em...why not?) play guitars; 12-string acoustic, the same with a Strat pup in the hole, a Johnson 6 string (slide), a Strat and a LP Custom from the '70s, something I made ("Little Man"), and then...uh...the Aria Classical guitar.
Quinn plays drums but we never really had a good live-drum room so he does the drum programming and whatnot.
We've got a guest track of NAF (Native American Flute) by Hawk Song and female lead vocals by Sunny Halemahina.
I guess you could say our influences are 'varied.' I like late '60s hard rock (British), Garvey likes everything from the aforementioned Squire to Sid V, Quinn says he listens to Bruford and so yah, it's eclectic.
Except I see two Yes'ers in there so that might tell you something.

liked what about me-the vocals are surperb! good piano playing-like the build up-into the tune-keep rockin in the free world.
Hey I saw that you had checked out some of my stuff so I figured I would give you a listen. I really like your work. Surfing On Saturn reminds me of stuff I used to do with my old prog trio.
Ovinu is sweet, nice arrangement. The ebow pieces are really cool too, nice ambient stuff. Reminds me of years ago when my girl and I used live in 5 points (used to be a hippie neighborhood here in Jax) and every Sunday we would go to the shops to get incense refills and such, they always had stuff like this on.
I got some ebow recordings, Ill see if I can find them and post.
Added you to my.soundclick and will be checking for new stuff.
Great assortment of styles. I really like the forest/nature themes to your music. I mainly do blues, but "Ancient Forest" really does something for me.
