We formed in 2003 and the original intent was for it to be a chance for members to explore a lighter and more chilled out style of music to that which they were more used to playing in their main bands, although the music hasn't necessarily turned out to fit this description. It's still early days for the band and right now everyone is just enjoying trying out new styles and techniques. With each member contributing to the sound with their varying musical tastes, u.r.s.g is proving to be an interesting and original project!Band/artist history
u.r.s.g has only just got off the ground and so there isn't much in the way of 'band history' to report of. Alan and James previously played together in the metal and rock tinged ska punk outfit Stickybacks (Alan still plays for them), Ross is the frontman for rock band Speaker One and Stacey played with thrash punkers Splatterhouse.Have you performed in front of an audience?u.r.s.g are yet to perform live. As I said the band is still in it's early days, but each member is very fond of playing live with their main bands and so can't wait to do so with u.r.s.g.
