I was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1982.
I moved to upstate New York in 1987. I have been writing lyrics sence I was in third grade and have been making beats for almost four years. In addition, I have been a D.J. for eight years under the alias of "D.J. Uh-Oh" in notable clubs such as Johnny D's, Hurricane Billiards, and Club Escape. I am currently out of school; however, I plan on returning to Corning Community College for my second year. I'm not a part of any specific band or group. However, I have worked with many local artists and even shared the stage with Lil Flip! I make a living selling instrumentals and occasionaly ghost-writing for different artists.Band/artist history
Compilation album entitled, "All of a Sudden..." will be released this winter. The album features various artists from upstate New York such as; Capion, Marshall aka The Black Rican, Doc Lunacy, Eddie Nights, Immortal Thug, Assasin, Malikei, Amy Pratt, Jocko, Money Mic, myself, and many more...
I don't talk about my history, I make it...Have you performed in front of an audience?I just recently, was part of an opening act for Lil' Flip on October 22, 2005 at "Club Escape" in Binghamton, New York. I have also performed live on numerous occasions at the now closed "Hurricane Billiards" and dozens of local house parties.
Your musical influences
I grew up listening to west coast hip-hop as a teenager but, when hip-hop began to re-surface on the east coast I began to listen to Gangstarr, Canibus, and M.O.P. (my favorite artists)What equipment do you use?
The Akai MPC-2000-XL, various keyboards, and the Boss BR-1180 for recording vocals.Anything else?
