how funny, been browsing soundclick for a while now and finally found the sounds i like, and now i even start to recognize people on everyones message boards, like jenae and euan. and now here's matt turner...great stuff man! you make me want to go out and jam at the local pub this afternoon...i might even really go this time!

Hi Matt,
John McConnach had asked me to check your music out awhile back, and seeing your name on his board reminded me. Anyway I listened to "Firefly" and think it's a great tune. I like the guitar intro and you captured a nice tone on the acoustic. Ending the song that way brings some nice unity to it. The vocals are good and the harmonies work quite well. Your not afraid of "going for it", and that always captures my attention (I don't have the confidence for that). Some of the lyrics stand out also "running in place", "firefly in the light of the Sun". Good job on this song!

i listened to all your music and you have some great talent man. the thing that strikes me is that you are only 17.
whatever you do...DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE 40 TO DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR MUSIC....the potential you have now at 17 is the greatest gift you could recieve.keep writing and keep up on the harmonies.awesome...great job...the music is great and although the vocals are a little off pitch...you have plenty of life ahead of you to master the craft.i'll check back with you soon..keep 'em coming!

Matt....found you on the acoustic rock charts and clicked on to Let Me Say, good song man! :) Totally love the power playing on acoustic you do, so cool when people get heavy like that on acoustic guitars, I totally love it, the chord progressions in that song were cool too!
You are such a young songwriter, only gonna get better man, and I will be back to hear more, goodluck and keep on keeping on! Check out a song of mine if you get the time!

Listening to STUCK.
I love the intro, clicks the listeners ear right away.....
Your vocals definatly have potential... They are a little off pitch wise but not hardcore off.... but the melody line is phenominal... and would def make it on the radio good stuff guys.

Hey Matt. I really like the new version of Stuck, the quality of the recording is way better than the previous version. Although Ill still have to get you some serious equipment.

Wow man, You're stuffs getting really good I love the melodic guitar riffs in Stuck. This song has a definate Starting Line feel
nice harmonies too man I like the way you panned them left and right

Hey Matt, thanks for the post. are you playing piano on "When we Die Together"? sounds really nice man. You should put your songs on garageband.com its a cool site where you can get some honest feedback from other musicians. Let me know when you post some more songs.
