I made one song as a joke back in 2002 and it was popular with everyone who listened to it.. I only had one copy of the CD and something unfortunate happened to that copy which resulted in about a quarter of the mylar backing on the cd coming off. I plan to re-record that, because I remember the words by heart even though it was entirely improvised.. It was one of those weird moments when even the most rhythmless guy sounded slightly decent behind a mic. Anyway, I've always made beats for the last 4 years or so, and my skill has come to the point where I feel my beats sound as good as many of the professionals out there that I draw influence from. Thats where I am now, and I will only get better in my opinion.Have you performed in front of an audience?Right now my focus is on producing and producing only..
Your musical influences
Kanye West, Lexicon, Outkast, Tricky, Poe, Dredg, and Queens of the Stone Age to name a few.. I draw from a lot of underground r&b and hip hop. I have my own style, however, I am sure most would agree.What equipment do you use?
I use fruityloops for now, and whatever samples and samplepacks I can pick up for lack of funding.. Otherwise I would be into the machines like mad.Anything else?
