Punk

The Magnums are a Punk Rock n' Roll band from the Washington D.C. area.
Band/artist history
So...you want to know how it all started, eh? OK, grab a beer, sit back and listen to this story. The Magnums were formed in late 2000 by Jack, Paul, Jim and Erik. They played a handful of shows and rocked pretty damn hard! Unfortunately, after awhile, this line up started having problems and Jim left the band. There was a brief hiatus, and then came Tom. Tom joined the band in 2001, and went on to record a six song demo with the band that was never released. Everything was going well, the band was playing shows, kicking ass, and having a grand old time. Until July 28th 2001. At a show in Ocean City, Maryland, Erik pitched a bitch fit, breaking microphones, and he almost got his ass kicked by Paul. So, there goes Erik. At this point the band seemed doomed. But the Magnums don't give up that easy. Jack, Paul and Tom heard that there was going to be an 80's metal cover show at the Sidebar in Baltimore Maryland on New Years Eve, and they knew that they couldn't pass that up!They recruited Kristin to sing for the show and they started practicing. The New Years show went well, so Jack, Paul and Tom decided that Kristin should be the new singer for the Magnums. Finally things seemed like they were going to work out, but no... Tom left to go play with the Goons. (Damn Drummers!). Around the time that this happened, Paul had been hanging out with Jim and one day he asked him if he'd like to come jam with the band. Jim said yes, and came back to the band, and that is how you get the Magnums line up that you see today. Jack, Paul, Jim and Kristin are here to stay, and here to FUCKING ROCK YOU! - The End -
