It's a deep and yet simplistically composed song about pain of being away from your loved one. So far away that you feel lost and can't find a way back.
Well it all began on the day of 'Basant' in the year 2000. When 'Nazi Khan'( Originally a cameraman & a really good singer) came to 'Classic Recording Studio' in Rawalpindi, which wasn't even officially open for business at that time. He was looking forward to record a title song for his own production( TV serial ). There he met the recording engineer 'Iftikhar' also known as 'Iffi' and his brother 'Azaaz'( A really amazing Keyboard Player) And after a few more meetings they became friends. And then Nazi introduced Shamber, his younger brother who also happens to be a good singer. When Nazi and Shamber starting Jamming with Iffi and Azaaz, all of them realized that this can work out very well if they gave it a shot. And thus formed a band. Unfortunately all of us couldn't give up our day jobs so we had to arrange our jamming sessions accordingly. Some times on weekends and on any kind of holidays. We performed when we could and we recorded a few songs when we could. Cancelled a few tracks. Added a few. Then something happened which non of them where expecting to happen to fast. Iffi and Azaaz moved to Toronto, Canada. And the whole project stopped. Nazi and Shamber got busy in their Jobs and thus it was the end ........... NOT!!!! Hell no there is no way that this thing is going to stay down. We believe in what we are doing and we are working on our album even thou we are far away from each other and it's close to impossible to for us at the moment to set up a system that can allow all of us to record at the same time. it's never going to be enough to break this bond of friendship and the band we call 'Dehek'.
DEHEK is about everything. Life, Love, Hope, Pain. So in a matter of speaking it's all about the world we live in .We write what we feel and express it with music. That's the only way we know how. [Dehek]Band/artist history
