You are looking/listening and hopefully enjoying a little BOOLOW. We hail from Shelby, NC. We have been together for years. Post-Hardcore band that is heavy on the politics and lite on the fluff. We don't front any fashion or trends, we just rock. One thing about BOOLOW is this, no matter if the club is packed or only employees...We are there to put on an entertaining show! It was the spring of 2000 or01 when we first started. It was Jeff, Mitch and myself [Jason]. We practiced for about a year maybe two and played a few shows. I quit in the fall of 2002, because I'm a quitter! We hooked up again at the start of 2003 and played as a 3 piece until we added another member [Richard] in the fall of 2003. Now we are cooking with a fatter sound, more energy and still teaching that Boolonascophic Knowledge!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes! We play different clubs in North Carolina and South Carolina. We love to play live. Why else would we do it.

The Stress Factory. The establishment not the building.. Brought us all together creating one big fun loving disfunctional family. It gave cleveland county a music scene. It helped bands network with each other. It gave us a place to go on the weekends. It was the ultimate party! It helped the little guys play weekend shows when bigger venues turned cheek. It was all about the music. Cleveland County and surrounding areas are covered with bands wanting to break out of the garage or dinning rooms. The Stress Factory gave us a place we could call home. There will never be a place like this again.
I remember the first show we played. It was us in 7th Angel Theory, Dead7 and Stress Related. One hell of a night to remember. That night kicked off the best year of my life. I loved attending shows every other weekend. I only missed a few the entire time the place was running. Both locations. The Stress Factory represented the underground in its purest form. and now.. its gone. Well I say f**
