The Deadly Rhythm

The Deadly Rhythm, from St. Louis, is a screamo-core band. Screamo-core? What's that? Well, it means Screaming/Emo/Hardcore. Still don't know what that mean

Punk

We are The Deadly Rhtyhm out of St. Louis. Our style? That's a really tough question. People have described us as hardcore, punk, emo, alternative, metal, etc. After long thought and careful consideration, we have narrowed down our style to a short, condensed phrase: Screamo-core. What is that, you ask? Let's break it down. Scream: our music features generous doses of screaming. Emo: our music is also emotional. That is not to say we're girly rock, but if you cry during one of our songs, that's understandable. Hardcore: we tend to rock out like it's going out of style. Hard riffs are plenty and no one is safe.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we play live just about anywhere. We recently played at the first year event "One Nite Stand" in St. Louis, where we placed 21st out of 111 bands. Do we like it? Of course! It's such a rush! As for special moments? Well, our bass player broke his E string once, but that wasn't so much special as it was annoying.
Your musical influences
Our influences range from Rage Against the Machine, to Korn, to MxPx, all the way to Weezer. We're very eclectic in our tastes and our music really shows that.
