Band/artist history
I used to be in a band, in fact i was in 3, then i went to a duo with my best friend from college, fantastic guitarist, then I moved onto a solo career as peter moved onto the media side of things.
The bands didn't really do much from college, I think we managed 3 gigs and even they were very hard pushed to get. Working with peter was when it really moved on for me. regular work, great feedback and a massive following. That died out when peter wanted to leave. It was fine, time to start on my own. It took me 4 months to sort out a set on my own and was a lot harder to decide what the public wanted but my first debut gig as a solo artist was coming fast and I was scared to say the least. I did the show got some good feed back only real problem I had was i didn't have enough songs. Luckily I had started getting karaoke stuff so i managed to cover up my blunder and started from then on as the rock n roll juvenile. 8 years down the line and here I am.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live often, I find it's the best way to express yourself. I prefer singing songs live to an audience then singing in a recording studio, I find that it always sounds better live. Not sure if it is the buzz I get before the show starts or what, but there is always something more when your up on that stage singing your heart out and getting that well deserved applause.
The most special moment I have ever felt was a concert I done 2 years back, It was my 24th birthday, and rammed full of people. Wow I didn't feel like I was working I had such a great time, a fantastic laugh and probably one of the greatest encores of my life. I sung 86 songs that night. I can assure you I wasn't saying much the next morning.
Your musical influences
Singer wise I can't say I have one anymore. When I first started out, my main influence was Cliff Richard, But as time has gone on I have come to realise that my real influence was my Grandfather George and my dad Keith. My dad a huge Elvis fan with an awesome set of pipes on him too, and my late Grandfather also having a massive love for music. Their inspiration to me whether they know it or not has been huge.Contact
