Far Away Far Away

Broken Broken
-Songs about Heartbreak, Depression, and a Mullet-
With influences from such bands as Face to Face, Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly, and Boy Sets Fire, Simply Pathetic was an aspirational young punk band in the early 2000's. They liked to describe themselves as "a whole lot of Punk, with a dash of Emo, and a pinch of Irish Folk all rolled up into one big fucking burrito of a band."

Band/artist history
Simply Pathetic was a band established by a dedicated high school punk rocker in 2001. The band went through multiple lineup changes before finally ceasing in late 2005. For four years, the group played multiple shows in the greater Cincinnati area, often with acts who would later go on to true influence and stardom. In 2004 the band self-released their only album, "Songs About Heartbreak, Depression, and a Mullet", which sold over 300 copies on compact disc (that's maybe certified aluminum?). The final lineup who recorded the album consisted of Dan Johns on bass and lead vocals, Adam Reifsnyder on guitar and backing vocals, and Mitch Porter on the throne behind the drum set.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Simply Pathetic played every venue from church halls (they didn't like us) to local clubs and Bogarts. Playing multiple rounds of the Bogarts Rumble were the best shows the band ever played!
