I just uploaded my new song WANT ME TO BE its just a clipping but I would love to hear what you think of it :) I am trying a new direction musicially and I really want to know what people think of it right now at the stage its in. I want to get started on Fallen can you send me the tab and write out the way the song is structured for me e.g. intro first verse, chorus etc...
I found your song while looking for undiscovered talent for soundtrack filler for a film. I would like to play this song for my girlfriend, if she likes it, I will present it to the proper personnelle and see what they say. me again Scott, I wish you lived up here in Toronto my guitar player has his own studio and I know if he recorded you it would sound awesome. anyways i like the new songs. your voice sounds really great we should collaborate on something sometime or it would be cool to add some back up vocals to one of your songs

i'm listening to Emotional Real Estate at this very moment. It's a little late in the evening, i've got an headache after working 12 hours straight today.. So not listening very carefuylly i'm afraid ...
I like the caughing! Reminds me of a (live) recording i have of young Bob Dylan in the Gaslight club NY where he starts caughin in the middle of the song. Gives it a live feeling.
In regard to your question what songs to record for a CD... well,.. i can't choose for you but i'd suggest the following:
1. choose at least one song that's closest to your heart/feelings. Will be the easiest one to record i think;
2. choose a song everyone can easily remember (the three-chord tunes that anyone can whistle immediatly) so they will pick up the CD again and again to listen to it - hopefully the radio-stations will pick it up too than;
3. pick the one most DOWNLOADED from here. Plays don't count. Everytime someone listens to a song for at least a minute it gets counted

don't know how i ended up on your page but sure am glad i did :-) Here are some remarks... Hope they're usefull.
First off, and you probably know this, people don't listen to Dylan because of his singing quality - man i've been a Dylan fan for years have spend loads of money on his albums and have been to his concerts but.. (sorry to all devote followers of His Bobbness) the man can't sing..!
Now, on to your songs, here's my two cents:
* Fallen - very well sung, good guitar playing. Some minor glitches in the recording (popping mic);
* Shine On - i hear Radiohead influences? As well as in the singing as in the melody. Great one. The lyrics however are what makes this song stand out!
* Rodeo - mmm... interesting description of the song, it's a pitty the lyrics aren't posted. Little too much echo on the vocals i think.
* Luster - the intro ain't too long, i kinda like it (the maximum seems to be 30 seconds so i've read once, this one get's close). Again some p

your songs remind me of when me and my best friends were sittin around the campfire with a few guitars just singin our hearts out to the night sky... you have a real talent there and I'm glad I found you. I can definitely hear your U2 influences... my all time favorite rock group. Keep it up man!

Hey man,
The new song shine through, it has so much potential. Im very impressed by the lyric, the chorus is really quite good! Work on your phrasing a bit more, I like the loose feel but it could use some tightening in the verses. Chorus is great, I would just love to hear your songs with a band. Great writing, keep it up, your songs are getting better and better!
