Supporting SIMPLE PLAN, METALLICA, SEETHER and COLLECTIVE SOUL in Durban in March 2006 has to be a band highlight. South African band SITTER play a mix of genres from punk to alternative all through to acoustic rock. Great things are predicted from this young band who have released their debut album, Based on a True Story, in 2005.
Band/artist history
Sitter have been playing for about 4 years now, but only seriously since March 2005. 2 new members have recently joined the band and have given the band an injection in the heart. Sitter continually evolve and gain strength. The goal is to have the masses know who they are.

We love playing live and have performed at countless venues.

Green Day, Matchbox 20, Coldplay, Good Charlotte
What equipment do you use?
Our Front of house system is mostly Yamaha, with the guitars being Gibson/Fender, and the drummer plays a Pearl Kit.

The South African Music scene is on the up so everyone in the world must start watching out for South African bands, as they will soon be in every house, everywhere!!!
