Band/artist history
Prozak has been together for 2 years. The band has evolved musically, from its early Blink 182-influenced stylings to something with more substance. Taking its cues from classic groups such as Smashing Pumpkins, Ash and At The Drive-In, to more recent bands like Hell Is For Heroes, Biffy Clyro and Reuben, Prozak uses its diverse influences to create its own distinctive sound. This is demonstrated by the 4 song ep "The People Don't Listen", which has been getting rave reviews from webzines such as HeathenAngel.co.uk. The band has played a number of gigs with the likes of the now defunct indie glamsters Librium, at an acoustic clubnite at the Intrepid Fox in Soho, and Surrey metal band Over The Influence, who the band supported in September 2003. More recently, they played a show with up-and-coming emo chancers Icarus Burning, and recorded their debut mini-album, "Scenes From A Moving Picture" over 4 days in February 2004.
