Here is my story- My name is Olaf Blackwood, I was born into a musical family in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, my grandfather was a violinist and my uncle is a major recording artist in Canada. I discovered my talent when I was very young. At seven, I started by singing into teacups because I thought the acoustics were great, and I believed that everyone in the neighborhood would hear me. I began singing in and around my community when I was ten and captured the hearts of audiences islandwide. At age fourteen I worked with a popular recording company in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, where I met world famous guitarist, Ernie Ranglin, who believed in my talent and though tthat I would have a promising future in music. Once I moved to Kingston, the "Manhattan of Jamaica." I spent the next 6 years touring in Europe, the U.S and the Caribbean, performing with the likes of RUN DMC, SHAGGY, and BRIAN MCKNIGHT. I had crossed over from performing with some of Jamaica's most popular singers, to the world's. Singers such as EVE, ALICIA KEYS, DOUG E FRESH, JIMMY COZIER,BOUNTY KILLA, BEENIE MAN,SEAN PAUL , BUNNY WAILER of BOB MARLEY and the Wailers have all encouraged me to pursue my dreams . - more of my accomplishments are available by request.Have you performed in front of an audience?sure sure done alot of gigs in europe,usa,and the islands and loved most of them.- Special moments, let me see, well its hard to say because there are just so many momets to consider special

ok i know it will take a while to get there, it has been taking a longtime to even get to here -and i would just like to take the time out to thank everybody who helped me so far -u know yourselves- thanks to all my fans who always come to my gigs i love u all
