Allright , here it goes... Far From officially formed in November of 2001. Gaining and losing members on and off for months. There was plenty of times when there wasn't even gonna be a band, but the two kids pulled it off ( Matt & Alex ). Joining the band in around late March or somthing like that came John. Right after John joined, the band started writting alot more than they had ever done before. After a month or so they decided to grab a friend of john's.. Jesse .. to sing.. Then came Bob who had been begged for months to join and everything was complete.
Then came our shows, The first show ever played just happened to be in alex's back yard for his brothers graduation party. A good hundred people there standing there looking at us all like we were all nuts playing loud mush. It was great and you have to start somewhere right ? Well for every show after that the band only made more friends and more fans. Just thinking back to those days again the band remembers them as ,
" the good old days"
But to much disappointment Jesse and Bob who the band had recorded their first cd with decided to leave. Taking up the lead vocals currently is Matt who will be a permanent solution to the problem. And On Drums is good old John's brother Chris!
Far From is working to the extremes to be heard and loved by anyone and everyone with an ear for their blend of Punk/Emo/ or watever you wanna call it music that makes people jump, sing , scream and everything else in between. Ha ha that rhymed.. And if there is one word to describe the stage presents of this hard rock quintet it is simply indescribable. So take a look at the next time Far From is playing near you, And check em out !!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?We play shows all over the place but now we are comming up with even more songs that are better and will get our fans to really jump to us.
