She's Sexy She's Sexy
A Classic Summer Love Joint featuring Blake Figgins. The Beat is Bananas! The potential single from my upcoming LP tentatively titled 'The Big Payoff.' The beat is courtesy of Coventry Woods. Check him out if you need some heat.
Sup Fam it's your boy Peso repping the glove. The city of Detroit to be more exact, home of the NBA champion Detroit Pistons. I've been spending the summer working on that new Clayborne jumpoff. It's going to be hot. features production from myself, Eddie Lee, and Pro V to name a few. Look for it to be dropping in August on soundclick. I'm saving most of my heat for that project, but now that I'm almost done with that, I'll be making a lot more updates and adding some new beats to the page. It's not a game and soon you'll understand. Your boy has come a long way since the first beat tape made on a 4 track back in 2000.
Band/artist history
Well I started off when I got my first synth in high school and started making beats. I teamed up with my boy Shortie and we started a production duo/rap group called LDE(Lions Den Extraordinaries). I was originally the keyboard man and he programmed the drums along with another guy named Ant Nunn. A third producer named Eric C. also assited with the project. We finished our first album during the summer after graduation and by that time we had added a third member, Xquisite, as a rapper. I was in the leader and executive producer of the group, and in 2001 we were set to work on a second album. Clayborne, another rapper who went to our high school was added, however due to creative differences the group disbanded and the project was never completed. After the breakup, Clayborne decided to continue working with me and now I produce him exclusively. Check out his page

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Naw I don't play, just sequence and program. I did take piano lessons and do play the saxophone though. I've done a couple of talent shows. One as a rapper and one as a hype man for the rapper who used my beat. Both were terrible experiences.
Your musical influences
I can tell you right now my top producers are Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and Timbaland. Others I would give props to are DJ Premier, Neptunes, & Scott Storch. I like producers that are inovative and bring a whole new angle to the game. I'm really into uptempo beats with crazy snyth parts and funky bass lines. I love the way Primo and Kanye sample tracks and keep it street, and Dre is great a making a beat that is simple yet so effective. However I listen to everything.
What equipment do you use?
Right now I have an ASR-10, a DPS-16, and a stack of records and CDs. I'm currently revamping my setup. But I have used a Dr-5, XP-60, and MPC 2000XL on my tracks.
Anything else?
If you listen to the songs, please give me feeback, good or bad, and make sure you go to Clayborne's page as well.
