I think Rios has his own opinion on what makes music good. his own ideals, and everyone is allowed to have those..but i think his are wrong, this song is very well done and if you listen to any of the songs by stutterfly or kookshow or many of the other small bands out there.. the song writting talent just isnt there.. as a musician my mind has plenty to think of in this song..and there really isnt anything i can think of to change.. As posted in my topic:
"Great music. Everything flows nice in there. Only complaint, is that maybe sometimes during the verses, you should change your voice a bit so it doesn't always match with the bassline, you know? Great work nonetheless.
Verse 2: same as verse 1, vocals need to vary from the bassline.
Sometimes the vocals fall flat, for some reason, they get boring. Maybe your vocalist needs to add a bit of "flavor" in his chorus/verse sometimes?
And finally, why no leads(solos) in your song? it would make the song much better.
So overall, a pretty good songs, work on the vocals( not the lyrics, they were good), and add a lead.
