Prior to this, The Head N' South Band was rockin' across the United States and Europe with their hard driving Country Music. Freddy and The Head N' South Band were nominated or won several Terry Awards, including "Traditional Country Band", "Songwriter Of The Year", "Album Of The Year" and "Club Band Of The Year". The Head N' South Band also was selected for the 44th Grammy Entry List, Category 39, Field 7 for "Best Country Album", ahead of such major artists as Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Lila McCann, Marshall Dyllon, Montgomery Gentry and numerous others. Also won "Texas Album Of The Year" for the album "Town Of Fewer People" given by the Francis Walsh Foundation.
