Aztlan was born in Alice Texas. Influenced by bands like Mana, Ozzy and the Beatles, Aztlan created some very original music that seemed out of place in the Tejano Country it was born in.
Band/artist history
Aztlan started out with Lalo Falcon and Marco Villareal playing some acoustic covers at backyard BBQs. A few other guys started sitting in and voila. The band was originally a Rock Cover band named Tangled Web. After the first band split Aztlan and Dogma were born. Both bands played for years in the South Texas area. Lots of band members came and went until Marysol joined the band and took over on lead vocals. All of the Aztlan originals were written by either Lalo Falcon or Marysol.
