Kurixis began as vocalist/guitarist Rob's solo project Noir in October 2000. After the release of two demos, drummer Matty and bassist Webi joined in Spring of 2002 and the name of the band was changed to Kurixis. The Petitioning the Cold demo was released that October and Kurixis started performing live shows in the North Eastern United States shortly after. A new self titled demo has been recorded and will be released in early 2004.Your musical influences
