I did a different version of this song for my FAWM 2012 songwriting challenge. This is an updated version. The lyrics were written by a mate of mine by the name of Alastair. He hadn't written a song before but I think its quite excellent.

Have you performed in front of an audience?I sometime get my lazy arse out to songwriting night around Sydney... The best one I normally go to these days is at the excelsior in Surry Hills. Great atmosphere and very well run.
Your musical influences
Many. I guess it started with an obsession with The Doors...but then really took a hold with alternative local Australian music such as Do Re Mi and You Am I... throw in Neil Young, David Bowie and Beatles and you still don't really add up to me... I am an original I guess...ha haWhat equipment do you use?
I am currently recording on my lap top with Cubase... I have a Rodes microphone... A Dave Smith Mopho Keyboard to add some weird sounds when I can be bothered.Anything else?
I keep being labelled by the admin here as Electronic which is funny to me as I had never even made a song of this type before FAWM 2011 which was a bit over a month ago. I am an alternative, Indie artist and don't really like being labeled by someone who might have only listened to 20 seconds...if that much of my song I uploaded...funny then the the title to that track is called not listening.Contact

Far out kinda lyrics...love them!! I really like those music tracks, great backing, very rhythmic and excellent with that slightly eerie sound. First class delivery on the vocals!
Love the lyrics. The music is really out there - totally crazy stuff...but in a good way. Gotta love the manic edge you get to your stuff - it's raw and very real.
The title kind of sums this up, lol. Love the hazy, disconnected feel you get with this song - great overdriven sound, really helps set the scene. It grabs that vibe you get when your brain's just about to lose the plot and the room seems to be moving around faster than you are, lol. Clever stuff, great job.
It's the first time I've ever heard a song that sounds like a cross between a vegetarian's crusade, a nightmare after eating cheese and a psychedelic trip! If I could invent stuff that was as off the wall as this I'd be very happy indeed!
