actually guys with that said, what the hell does this song have to do with illusion?, 'maya' should be sparse, not a chipper little journey down the the ecstacy road.
yes Maya means misperception, but the more appropriate and recognized meaning is 'illusion.' This is the meaning that is given to "maya" especially within the Vedanta sect of "Hinduism." The general concept that this life, you and I as well as the physical world, are an illusion, a mere dream. We are all misrepresentations of the 'One'--Brahma. There is no existence other then God, all is illusion. This is pantheistic monism.
