Forsaken Family was founded by two brothers who were raised through the hardships of poverty and violence in the inescapable depths of the corrupt Fostoria, Oh. Reared by only the most devout Christians they could still not avoid the inevitability of becoming products of their environment. Selling drugs was not only an income but a way of life. Though the teachings of the bible stuck in their minds it was rarely practiced through their actions. Forsaken Family was formed as a way to vent their biographies to entertain as well as to inform. now with the arrival of long time friend Natalie into the fold, the fam is complete. Just her presence alone is enough to make the doubters believe. But its her undenible vocal power that helps set this group apart from all others in todays watered down rap scene. The Forsaken Family blends a hard street attitude with unrivaled lyrical mastery. Touching on an array of topics ranging from the hardships of life to the blessings of God. Their new album indulges heavily into political and global events as well as the inevitable end of the world itself. We originally recorded this album back in 2006 thru 07. But it wasnt the right time to drop the CD. The rap game simply wouldnt have been ready for an album with this kind of political caliber. We always felt the Forsaken Album was way ahead of its time and now that the people of the world are finally starting to wake up and come around to the realization that we are on a destructive course to world wars, world famine, diseases that could easily wipe out mankind and the secret movements and advancements toward a one world government among the top world leaders. Now is the right time for The Forsaken Family to finally drop this long awaited album!Your musical influences
The whole 90s NY Rap Scene in general was a big influence & has a big role, Anybody & everybody involved with the whole Wu-Tang movement for sure, There is just way too many to list from Metal to Rap, Lamb of God, Sepultura, Killswitch Engage, Nas, Jay-Z, Immortal Technique, Mobb Deep, to Eminem just to name a fewAnything else?
