Developing His Individual Style
As he began to develop his own individual style, Touch blended his heart-felt expressions with concerns of life. He took this message on the road at age 13 when he joined his first male chorus and began singing in different cities throughout Mississippi. After a couple of years, Touch started his own gospel group. While constantly learning and growing musically, Touch's personal life was not without struggle and personal sacrifice. Enduring hard times and lacking family support, Touch never lost faith; rather, he embraced his spirituality, sang what was in his heart, and shared his love of music.
